What is Love?
Everyone wants to be loved but what does that really mean? If you
ask ten different people what they think love is you will get a variety
of answers. The response to this question depends on who you are
asking. Can you describe what love is?
Love comes in many forms. There are those who believe the source comes
only from God and others may argue that love is an earthly desire. When
you are searching for love, what are you really looking for? In order
to be clear on creating what you want, I suggest that you define what
love means to you.
If you assume that love is simply butterflies in the stomach or
the ache of not getting the object of your affection, you will probably
approach love in a way that doesn't feel good. When someone nice comes
into your life, do you reject them because you are not "in love" with
them? Do you confuse love with the drama portrayed in movies?
To put it simply, love should not cause pain. If you sense
that heartache is a pattern in your life, look back to your earlier
years to see if someone had influenced that idea. The best way to move
forward is to clear your subconscious mind of those worn-out
associations and create a new definition of love for yourself. You then can be free to experience love in a healthier, more joyful way.
